I came across this great post from www.whitehottruth.com†and I just had to share. I don’t know if you are anything like me, but I have the tendency to neglect myself and put myself last. I really don’t think that I am trying †to be a martyr. Most of the time I really don’t realize that I am doing it until I am worn out and a little bitter. Sometimes it has to do with money. I have to take care of other things because I am a single parent with very limited funds. Other times it’s because I am spreading myself thin. The worst is that maybe I think that everyones needs are more important than mine. I am learning to (baby steps) to put my needs first. Actually a health scare is forcing me to put myself first. I even like the title of this post “The Declaration of Deserving” I think we all need to write our own declaration of deserving and post it on our mirrors. I hope it inspire you to write your own Declaration! †Stop by her site for more positive enlightenment.
a declaration of deserving:
You are worthy of your desires.†Really wanting what you want gives you the power to get it.†You were born free. (The more you try to earn your freedom, the more trapped you become.)†You are worthy of love and respect. Lovable.

: time to think about it
: a chance to show them what you’re made of
: a second chance
: an education

You deserve all this just because you showed up.
